Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD (Build Your Dreams) has launched two of its major electric vehicles, 2025 model year ATTO 3 SUVs and Seal sedans, in the Indian market. These models include new features and updates, which offer attractive options for consumers.
Byd Atto 3: Launched with new features
Byd has introduced the 2025 model year version of its electric SUV Atto 3, priced at ₹ 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This SUV will first be available for 3,000 customers at an old price, after which prices will be increased. The booking amount has been fixed at ₹ 30,000.
The new model adds facilities like front ventilated seats and all-black interior color scheme. In addition, the Atto 3 now comes with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) auxiliary battery, which is six times light and provides a lifetime of up to 15 years. This battery was introduced in the first Sealion 7 model.
Byd Seal: Booking of premium electric sedan begins
Byd has also started booking its premium electric sedan Sedan Sedan Sedan 2025 Model Year Edition, which has a booking amount of ₹ 1.25 lakh. Prices will be announced in April 2025. In the previous year, the company has sold 1,300 units of Seal.
The new updates include electric sunshed, advanced air purification system and wireless apple carplay support. In addition, the mid-spec premium trim now includes frequency selective dampors (FSDs), while the DISUS-C system (adaptive suspension setup) of Byd has been added to the top-spec performance trim, which adjusts the decires according to road conditions and vehicles.
