    What happens to smartphone finger?

    According to reports, at our fingertips smart fone The greatest effect is visible with use. You will see that it has a severe effect on the pinky and thumb of the hand. This happens not only with smartphones but also with tablets and video game controllers.

    If you type too much, your thumb and fingers start getting pain. Similarly, if you use a video game controller for a long time, your hands start getting pain. Something similar happens by holding the phone for a long time. Many times you must have noticed that a mark is formed on your finger because of the phone.

    Why are phones making hands ‘sick’?

    Our hand is made up of 27 bones, 35 muscles and more than 100 tendons connecting them. With the help of these tendons you are able to bend your fingers. Due to continuous pressure on any one place, these tendons and muscles are greatly affected.

    A major reason for this is the ever increasing weight and size of smartphones. There was a time when people used to have small phones in their hands, which weighed less. Then with time the size and weight of the phones kept increasing and now they have become so heavy that they are harming our and your hands.

    If your hand starts hurting after using the phone for a long time, then you have to keep some things in mind.

    • Put the phone down immediately i.e. stop using it. Gradually try to reduce your phone usage.
    • Where you are feeling more problem, you can use ice.
    • Apart from this, you can also use heat therapy.
    • If your pain continues to increase, you will have to consult a doctor.
