Both these devices have been introduced with strong specifications and premium design. The special thing is that the Jovi brand is actually a rebranded version of Vivo’s phones, which has been specially designed for Brazil, where the name ‘Vivo’ is already registered with a telecom company. What is special in Jovi V50 5G?
Talking about the specifications, the Jovi V50 5G and Jovi V50 Lite 5G get the same hardware as the smartphones introduced in other markets under the Vivo V50 series. The Jovi V50 5G has a 6.77-inch curved-edge AMOLED display, which supports 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 4500nits. This phone comes with IP68/69 rating, which means it is largely protected from dust and water.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, paired with 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. For photography, it includes a 50MP front camera and a 50MP main camera with OIS support at the back, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and Aura LED flash. The smartphone runs on FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It gets support for a large 6,000mAh battery and 90W fast charging.
Features of Jovi V50 Lite 5G
On the other hand, the Jovi V50 Lite 5G also comes with a 6.77-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1800nits brightness. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The camera setup includes a 32MP front camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor on the rear. This phone is IP65 rated and runs on Android 15 based FunTouch OS 15. It also gets support for in-display fingerprint sensor and 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. At present, the company has not shared any information regarding the price of these two smartphones.
