If you are waiting for Samsung’s new foldable phone, then there is good news for you. Samsung’s most-awaited Galaxy Unpacked event is going to be held on July 9, 2025, and as always, leaks are coming about it continuously. The main attraction of the event will be the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and now popular tipster Evan Blass has leaked pictures of the phone, in which it can be seen in three different colors. If you are also planning to buy this phone, then see how Samsung’s new foldable phone will look…
The phone will be thinner than the previous model
Blass has shared a new batch of renders via his Substack newsletter, showing the Z Fold 7 in all its foldable glory. The images show the device from almost every angle and confirm that Samsung’s next-gen foldable is going to be a lot thinner than its previous model.
The renders show three colour options, including Jet Black, Blue Shadow, and a new Silver Shadow variant, a colour that has not appeared in previous leaks.

Interestingly, these colours match the ones shown on the official staging site that surfaced earlier this week. That site has also hinted at a fourth colour option – Green Mint – that could be an online exclusive, though Blass hasn’t provided visuals of it yet.
Galaxy Unpacked event 2025 will take place on July 9
Samsung has officially confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 9, 2025. Samsung is expected to unveil its latest generation of foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, at the event.
What to expect from the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event
In addition to the standard Fold and Flip, the company is rumoured to also debut the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, though we’ll have to wait and see if that will actually come to fruition. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is said to be lighter and more budget-friendly than ever before. Leaks suggest the phone will weigh around 215 grams, 24 grams less than last year’s model. Samsung is offering a bigger display this time around, with the upcoming phone said to feature a larger 8.2-inch inner display in addition to a 6.5-inch cover display.
Apart from smartphones, Samsung is also said to unveil new wearables at the event. Rumors are that the Galaxy Watch 8 series, which will include the classic model as well as a new Galaxy Watch Ultra model for those who want something more robust, will also be unveiled.
This could be the price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7
If you’re expecting a price cut, get ready. A leak from Dutch site NieuweMobiel claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 were briefly spotted on an Italian retailer’s site, revealing some surprising prices. The Fold 7 is expected to start at 2,227.71 euros (roughly Rs. 2,23,000) for the 256GB version, rising to 2,309.03 euros (roughly Rs. 2,31,100) for the 512GB model. The Flip 7’s 512GB variant, on the other hand, is expected to be priced at 1,425.51 euros (roughly Rs. 1,43,000).
This is a big increase compared to last year’s launch price, as the 512GB variant of the Z Fold 6 came at a price of 2,119 euros (roughly Rs. 2,12,100), while the Flip 6 with the same storage capacity came at 1,319 euros (roughly Rs. 1,32,000). However, do keep in mind that these prices are inclusive of Italy’s 22 percent VAT, so prices may vary in different countries.
