New Delhi: Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi launched its new Xiaomi 15 series in China in October 2024, which includes Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. Now news is coming that this series can be launched in India soon. Not only this, it is also rumored that another phone, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, can also be included in this series.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) said in a post on social media platform X that the Xiaomi 15 series and Redmi 14 5G could be launched in India in February. However, he did not say whether Xiaomi 15 Ultra will also be in this series or not. Apart from this, no information has been given about Redmi 14 5G.

In November last year, the Xiaomi 15 was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with model number 24129PN74I. It is speculated that this smartphone may soon be available in India.

Features of Xiaomi 15 series

Last year, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra were launched in India. The specifications of the Xiaomi 15 series are also expected to be similar to the smartphones launched in China. Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and Android 15-based HyperOS 2 operating system. Talking about the camera, these smartphones will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with Leica tuned triple rear camera.

Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro can also be launched

Xiaomi is also planning to launch the Civi 5 Pro soon. It will be the successor to the Civi 4 Pro and may feature the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset. According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the Civi 5 Pro may be priced at CNY 3,000 (roughly ₹34,900). It may feature Leica-tuned cameras and dual bionic front cameras. Apart from this, this smartphone is likely to have a metal middle frame and round camera island. In India, it was introduced as Xiaomi 14 Civi. The Civic 5 Pro may also have a 1.5K quad screen and a hole-punch slot for dual front cameras.
