Xiaomi 15 Series: Xiaomi is going to launch its new flagship 15 series soon, which will include Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Both smartphones will work on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.
When will the Xiaomi 15 Series be launched
Xiaomi has confirmed that it is going to launch the Xiaomi 15 series on March 2, just before this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC). The information came to light when Xiaomi India’s official page retweeted Xiaomi Global’s launch date confirmation post and wrote – ‘Mark March 2 on your calendars. Get ready to witness #TheNextPinnacle. #XiaomiLaunch #Xiaomi15Series.’
Possible features of the Xiaomi 15 Series
According to several reports and leaks, Xiaomi 15 can have a 6.36-inch OLED display, which will come with a 1.5K resolution. For performance, this smartphone can be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and it can get up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage with 12GB of RAM. For power backup, the device can have a 5,500mAh battery, which will support 90W fast charging. This phone can run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0. For photography, it can see a Leica-powered camera setup, which will include a 50MP primary sensor.
On the other hand, Xiaomi 15 Ultra can have a 6.73-inch 2K quad-curved display. This phone can be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and can have up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. For power backup, it can be given a large 6,100mAh battery, which will support 90W fast charging. Talking about the camera setup, it can have a 50MP Sony LYT900 OIS primary sensor, 50MP Samsung JN5 ultrawide lens, 50MP IMX858 3x telephoto lens, and 200MP HP9 periscope lens.
Expected price of Xiaomi 15 Series
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra was launched in China at a starting price of CNY 6,499 (approximately ₹ 78,000), while the base model of the Xiaomi 15 was introduced at CNY 4,499 (approximately ₹ 53,000). However, according to reports, the price of Xiaomi 15 in India could be around ₹ 70,000, while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is likely to be launched at a price less than ₹ 99,999.
